784097287489399723            Motorola announced a little while back about its new smartwatch called Moto 360. Unfortunately, they did not release any real specific information about the watch itself. This has all changed because a recent report that was published on the blog website “Mister Gadget” gave a lot more information on the Moto 360. They even included never before seen images of the watch as well. From the images alone, people have already learned that the Moto 360 will have a wireless cylindrical charger that can be docked anywhere. When you want to charge the smartwatch you just place it on the dock and it will charge. You can tell if the watch is charging by observing the tiny light on the bottom portion of the dock. This portable charger is very convenient to bring with you on long trips or days in the office, so that you won’t have to worry about your watch losing power. After all, smartwatches aren’t going to stay powered for as long as a traditional watch that uses a button battery. This will be something that owners of the Moto 360 will have to get used to. However, Mister Gadget stated that the battery life of the Moto 360 will be significantly longer than its competitor, which is the LG G Watch.

The Moto 360 does have some other perks that will keep it from getting damaged. The watch is made with water resistance, so you will have no worries of spilling a drink on the watch and damaging it. The watch even has dust resistance as well. As for the specific features of the watch, you will have the standard heart rate monitor and a pedometer to measure how many steps you have taken. The Moto 360 will even be the first smartwatch that will run on Google’s Android operating system. Obviously, this operating system won’t look exactly the same as it does on a tablet because this version of Android will be made specifically for wearable devices. No one knows too much about how different the operating system will be on a smartwatch, but that information is bound to be made public before its official release date. Mister Gadget mentioned that the Moto 360 “might” get released in the later part of summer, like late August or early September. So far, we have yet to see it officially released in stores, but new information on this should be made available anytime now.
